Warm-season seeding
Bermudagrass, zoysia, centipede, and bahia germinate from seed once 2-inch soil temperatures sustain in the 65–90°F band. St. Augustine is established from sod or plugs — its seed is unreliable and not commercially viable. Pair seeding with aeration so seed drops into open holes for ideal soil contact.
Conditions are close to the action band. Monitor daily, the window typically opens within a few days.
