Fertilizer
Warm-season late-summer nitrogen
A final nitrogen feeding before the lawn slows in early fall builds carbohydrate reserves the grass uses to overwinter and green up faster next spring. Feeding this late on cool-season grass invites disease, but warm-season turf still has growth to spend it on.
